My most restrained work so far. A partial profile in sparse, deliberate marks against vast darkness. Where in other works I use density to build form, here I experimented with the use of absence.
The scattered fragments are precisely placed, each carrying the weight of the whole composition.
The negative space allowing the piece to breathe, and convey the feeling that you are enough. Sometimes less is more than enough and you can let yourself simply just breathe.
