My most restrained work so far. A partial profile in sparse, deliberate marks against vast darkness. Where, in other works, I use density to build form, here I experiment with absence.
The scattered fragments are precisely placed, each carrying the weight of the whole composition.
The negative space allows the piece to breathe and convey the feeling that you are enough. Sometimes less is more than enough, and you can let yourself simply just breathe.
