The story behind
Threshold marks a turning point in my life and practice. After a year of personal challenges, the image of the horse emerged naturally, carrying a sense of movement, strength, and renewal.
The horse became a symbol of change: not only transformation, but forward momentum. Moving with power, determination, and purpose. It represents the energy of stepping into something new, carrying hope and resilience.
It was only later that I realised the Year of the Fire Horse was approaching. This coincidence gives the work an added layer of meaning, as if the piece was responding to a moment already in motion.
Threshold is deeply personal to me. Not only for what it represents, but for the connection I felt while creating it. That connection is reflected in the final work, which stands as one of my most resolved, technically refined, and significant pieces to date.

Every work is unique, created using hammer and chisels on laminated safety glass.
Due to the internal tension within the glass, fine additional cracks may appear over time or during transport. These are inherent to the material and are part of this type of work, they are not considered defects. Only fractures that significantly alter the composition are regarded as damage.
