Threshold marks a turning point in my life and practice. After a year of personal challenges, the horse emerged as a natural symbol of movement, strength, and renewal.
It represents forward momentum—change driven by resilience, purpose, and hope.
The later connection to the Year of the Fire Horse added an unexpected layer of meaning, as if the work was aligned with a larger cycle already unfolding.
It remains one of my most significant, resolved and technically refined works to date.
